About Us Our Story Our journey started many years ago when my great-grandfather started 'Shri Krishna Provision Stores' in the heart of Karnataka. Everyday, my sister & I helped our parents for running the store. I still reminisce the hustle and bustle of serving the customers, savouring the sights and smells of cardamom, powder chutneys, and all spices. We sold nearly all regional snacks, Holiges, and the items required during festivals - Ugadi, Sankranti, Janmashtami, Diwali, etc. ​ Fast forward to 2006, after marriage, I moved to the UK but sadly the taste of India, of Karnataka, got left behind. This resulted in us bulk buying every time we visited India but that barely enough to last us for 3 weeks. That's when we thought it can't be just us who wanted the taste of India but were missing out. Having enough time during the pandemic, we were encouraged to serve the wider Indian audience in UK & Europe. This business germinated so swiftly that we were ourselves were taken aback. We had started off by selling yummylicious Holiges, condiments like Chutney Pudis, pickles and some eternal savouries (Kodabales) but now we've expanded greatly with over 70 different products! ​ We hope you enjoy the same tastes, flavours and smells of the foods that you grew up with! Shipping & Returns Shipping Policy HOME DELIVERY – UK Mainland only We dispatch from Monday to Friday. DPD Local is used to dispatch parcels Orders dispatched on Fri will reach by Mon or Tue DPD Local delivers within 2 - 3 working days once they receive the parcel ​ ​ HOME DELIVERY SHIPPING OPTION Free home delivery for orders worth over £50 £3.99 charge for home delivery for orders between £10 & £50 £6.50 charge for home delivery for orders less £10 ​ NEAREST SHOP DELIVERY OPTION Free nearest shop delivery for orders worth over £40 £2.99 charge for nearest shop delivery for orders less than £40 ​ COLLECTION OPTION Free or no charge for collection of orders if you are local or are willing to pickup your order ​ SHIPPING TERMS Orders placed before 8.30 am can only be dispatched on the same day (Monday to Thursday only) Orders dispatched on Friday will reach on Monday/Tuesday Orders placed after 8.30 am will be dispatched the next working day. Orders placed on Friday after 8.30 am will not be dispatched until the next Monday or Tuesday if Monday is a Bank Holiday. Please allow 48 hours extra in receiving the parcels in case of unexpected delays or during postal strikes. There are chances that the packing team gets straight on the job as soon as you place order. Hence you will not be able to cancel the order once you place the order. We have done our best efforts to ensure that right product is delivered to you.
