Nippattu is a deep fried snack made with rice flour, fried gram, peanuts and spice powders. These are eaten as a tea time snack and are also quite delicious during festivals
Nipattu is the same as Thattai in Tamil Nadu and is called Chekkalu in Andhra Pradesh.
